Dr. Paul C. Magarelli is a Board Certified RE & I and practices in Colorado Springs since 1998. Dr. Magarelli is a nationally noted specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility. He
is founder and Medical Director of Reproductive Medicine & Fertility Centers in Colorado and New Mexico.
Dr. Magarelli has presented and published ground breaking research in the area of integrating Eastern (Acupuncture) and Western medical treatments for infertility. Today, he continues to investigate the role of Traditional Chinese Medicine in treating IVF patients, thereby forging the way for the future of reproductive medicine.
Among his many accomplishments, Dr. Magarelli was honored as the recipient of the Reproductive Scientist Award in 1994 by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Practicing Physicians Award in 2004 by the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society (PCRS). Mel Cohen, MBA, Ph.D.

Mel Cohen is the Executive Director of Reproductive Medicine & Fertility Center. A Canadian who moved to the United States in 1990. He has 2 Master’s Degrees including an MBA and another in Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations. In December, 2006 he completed his Ph.D. in Hospital Administration.
As the Executive Director, Mel has the overall responsibility at RMFC for all departments. Working closing with his staff and he is extremely proud of his ability to work with patients and business people to ensure high success rates (take home babies) in a warm and safe environment. Some the economic plans introduced under his direction have helped to make IVF affordable and reachable to most people.
When not working in the office, he can be found in the operating room as a Certified Surgical Assistant. Mel was the only non-MD on the team at Toronto General Hospital that performed the first successful human single lung transplant. He has also helped developed many of the new laparoscopic hysterectomy techniques currently being used across the United States.

Diane graduated from the International Institute of Chinese Medicine in l995 with her Masters of Oriental Medicine degree. She trained in Beijing, China to explore the root of this ancient healing art.
She is NCCAOM certified, as well as FABORM (Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine). She is licensed in Colorado and is a member of Resolve, a national infertility support group. She has also had extensive training in Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine.
Diane has recently completed numerous studies with RMFC that demonstrated significant improvement in IVF pregnancies associated with the combination of acupuncture and Western high tech fertility treatments. She is the Director and Acupuncture Consortium leader for RMFC.

Diane is in private practice as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine at Heights Acupuncture Center in Albuquerque, NM. She is also a visiting faculty member at Southwest Acupuncture College.
Diane teaches regular classes in Celtic shamanism and offers her services as a shamanic healer among her other pursuits. She has been formally trained in contemplative work with dying people, herbology, psychology, Shamanism, and therapeutic bodywork.
Diane has published a chapter on Energetic Medicine, in the 6th edition of Pain Management: A Practical Guide for Clinicians, American Academy of Pain Management (CRC Press 2001). Dr. Diane is our Acupuncture Consortium leader in New Mexico.
